Markup Journal in den Ruhestand
Heute, nach fast vier Jahren im Betrieb, geht dieses Blog in den Ruhestand. Es bleibt weiter bestehen, wird aber nicht weiter entwickelt. Ab heute geht es im Webzeugkoffer weiter.

Worauf man sich als Gestalter in meinen Augen jedoch auf keinen Fall einlassen sollte, ist es, schon in der ersten Designrunde mehrere komplett ausgearbeitete grafische Vorlagen zu liefern.
Als Reaktion auf einen Beitrag auf “37signals”: Why we skip Photoshop.
Zunächst sollten die wichtigsten Seitentamplates definiert werden. Dann die Vermaßungen, Hauptfarben etc. Icons und andere Kleinigkeiten [...] Wie genau sind Feedburner & Co?
Dass die Daten von Diensten wie Feedburner nicht absolut genau zu nehmen sind, ist klar. Die Entwicklung der Abonnentenzahlen einer fast vergessenen Website, lassen mich allerdings weiter an solchen “Messwerten” zweifeln. Nach nun fast einem Jahr der Inaktivität, hat sich dort die Zahl der Abonnenten auf über 1.000 fast verdoppelt.
